With my second middle grade book "Kyan Green Battles the Universe" out through Bloomsbury this summer, I've had a great time spreading the word around schools, bookshops and libraries up and down the UK. I'm also soon to be branching out into teen horror (watch this space!), and always have about five or six other projects on the go - please check out my Instagram page for news, interviews with builders / readers, and barely passable animations of the fine artwork by David Wilkerson.

When not writing stories on my rusty old phone, I work in construction during the day, and bellow out instructions to my three kids of an evening, some of which they actually listen to.
